Gary Rabbior

Gary Rabbior has been President of CFEE, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, since 1981. He works to improve economic and financial capability so Canadians are better equipped to undertake their economic and financial decisions and actions with confidence and competence. Gary’s activities extend to entrepreneurship and enterprise education and he has worked with the provinces to develop school curriculum, written a wide variety of learning resources, and coordinated development of education websites. Gary did work for the federal Task Force on Financial Literacy. He coordinates the Classroom Edition of The Globe and Mail and leads the Building Futures Project – a collaborative effort with provinces to integrate financial education into core curriculum. Gary was awarded the "Consumer Educator of the Year Award" by the Ontario Ministry of Consumer and Commercial Relations and the Outstanding Teacher Award by the University of Waterloo.
