Mike Banham

Mr. Banham is accountable for leading the growth of Sun Life Financial Canada's Retail Wealth Management business which includes Sun Life Global Investments mutual funds, Sun Life Assurance annuities and Sun Life Financial Trust GICs.   Mike and his team support advisors with a broad, competitive product platform and a focus on partnership and business support to help advisors meet their individual business aspirations. Mr. Banham joined Sun Life in 1987 and has since held various senior leadership roles. Prior to his current role Mike was Chief Operating Officer for Sun Life Global Investments (Canada) Inc. where he was instrumental in launching the investment company. Mr. Banham is a past director for the Investment Fund Institute of Canada. He holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario and has a Certified Management Accountant designation from the Canadian Society of Management Accountants.
